| QA & QC - INSPECTION SERVICES Drill Pipe Inspection Service Tejas Tubular also offers a complete thorough Drill Pipe Inspection Service for Contractors and Operating Companies at our facilities. As the drill string is subject to compressive, tensile, bending, torsional, and thermal stresses during the construction process. Fatigue cracks can form and as the stress cycles continue, the cracks will grow until the remaining sound part of the stem can no longer sustain the applied torque and or tension. This can result in the loss of the complete Drill String. To avoid such avoidable and unnecessary, costly occurrence Inspections need to be performed at certain Intervals. After pressure cleaning, Tejas Tubular provides a full body length EMI & SEA Inspection, and checks for corrosion, pitting, dents and other hazards which can result in failure of the drill pipe product. We also do Thread Inspection and provide protective coating if required by the customer. |
